In this video, Jeremy Hambrice shares an incredible milestone in a long-term mission that reflects BMA Global’s mission, vision, and values. Over the past ten years, the Hambrice, Sanders and Crabtree families have lived among the Wantakia people of Papua New Guinea, presenting the gospel in their local language and context. By God’s grace, they have seen disciples made, a church planted, and local leaders equipped to carry the mission forward.

How exciting to see our team of North American church planters increasing! We officially welcomed five new BMA Global church plants recently at the BMA National Meeting. This brings our team to a total of 20 in eight different languages (English, French, Spanish, Russian, Urdu, Arabic, Garifuna, and Ukrainian). These church plants are being sent out by their sending churches with their prayers, support, and ongoing oversight.

When God called us to the valley we currently are serving in, it was a big step of faith. Not only was it in a new-to-us area, but there was also nothing on the land that had been given by the tribal authority. No municipal services or even any hope of ever getting them, no water, no road.

In the heart of Southeast Asia, a quiet yet powerful movement is unfolding—one that reflects the commitment of ChangeMaker missionaries and the power of the Gospel. Vietnam, a country often perceived as closed and cautious toward religious outreach, is slowly but surely becoming fertile ground for church planting and disciple-making—thanks in part to the faithful work of Filipino missionaries like Heinrich and May, and their partnership with local Vietnamese leaders like Pastor Thong.

When God calls, we often begin with a simple “yes.” For Pastors David Perez and Juren Mamon, that “yes” became the first step toward a bold mission: taking the Gospel to Cambodia. What began as a short-term exposure trip soon became a clear and compelling call to build something from the ground up: a Christ-centered ministry among one of Asia Pacific’s spiritually hungry nations.

In global missions, we often celebrate the fruit—churches planted, believers baptized, lives transformed. But every harvest begins with soil, seed, and sweat. The reality is that gospel work among the nations almost always begins from scratch. Missionaries enter with empty hands and full hearts, building from the ground up in foreign soil, often with nothing but a burden from God and the power of the Spirit.

Here, we highlight the stories of four such ChangeMakers: Elias N., Maher S., Mazen H., and Naameh S.

France is an enigmatic place. Many Americans have a very one-dimensional view of France and either think only of bread, cheese, wine, and architecture; or they revile it as the world’s premier hub of irreverent philosophers, the sexually promiscuous, and libertines of all varieties. However, the French see themselves in quite the opposite respect.

The charge from Paul to young Timothy was to continue in the things he had learned, knowing it was Paul who taught them to him (II Timothy 3:14). Paul was basically saying, “Regardless of the circumstances, regardless of the challenges, and regardless of the conflicts – just do your thing.” This same charge applies today.

Preparing for the mission field looks different for every missionary. Some are preparing to move to a different city, some a different country, but all with the same goal in mind. As a missionary preparing to move to a creative access country, my preparation has been several years in the making. From discipleship and training to the logistical aspects, the Lord uses each step to sanctify and equip His people to take the gospel to every corner of the world.

Nestled deep in the southern province of Zambia, Africa, lies the chiefdom of Sekute — one of the 72 tribal chiefdoms in the region. Sekute is home to several tribal communities, including the Tonga, Lozi, and Tokaleya people, many of whom have yet to hear the Gospel of Christ. This remote region, formerly known as Northern Rhodesia, has become not only our home but also our passion. The people here are now our family.
