On July 23, 1966, in a missionary conference led by the late missionary Rufus Crawford in Várzea da Palma, Minas Gerais, the Holy Spirit acted in my heart after listening to the message he preached. Brother Rufus invited people to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, and I did not resist the invitation. Soon I was up front giving my life to the Lord Jesus Christ.

One of the great joys in following Christ on his redemptive mission in this world is going alongside people you love. As a pastor, I have a consistent desire to take people from our church to foreign places in order to encourage believers and make Christ known to those  who have yet to believe in him as their Savior.

Santiago, Chile, is a very vibrant, very fast, and very expensive city, which can make ministry there very difficult. The vision for reaching Chile with the gospel - particularly the capital city of Santiago - is to plant a church in each of its eighteen municipalities.

Have you ever considered the magnitude, the enormity, of God’s mission? To go unto ALL the world? To make disciples in EVERY nation, tribe, tongue, and people? How easy is it for us to place human limits on an all-powerful, limitless God? Still we go. We do our part.
